My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Loki's story; I was bought at a pet store in Colorado Springs on 13 Aug ‘16. I was purchased to be trained as a service animal for my medically retired Army human Jason. As the newest member to the family, I was brought up with two toddlers who loved to play with me and use me as a pillow. I didn't mind, because I aim to please my human family. I went to work with Jason nearly every day for two years during my training and would burn energy off at the dog park in the evenings where my vest would come off and I could play like the high energy beagle I am. I don't like to bay unless Jason gives me a treat or I feel the family is being threatened. I don't even bark at the mailman or those passing by.

I have to rehome Loki, as my new job does not allow me to take him to work. I work everyday and rarely have time to take him on walks and I can't afford a dog walker. It saddens me to have to give my best friend away, but he deserves to be with a family who will love him as much as I do.
