2007 Rocky Mountain Mare, 14h

Clarke is a very sweet, eye-catching mare with a willing and gentle personality. She was pretty timid with people at first, but she has learned to trust humans and quite likes a good spa day. Due to DSLD (Degenerative Suspensory Ligament Disease), Clarke is a companion only but is completely pasture sound and barefoot. Clarke is very solid in her groundwork and is used in our SASH education program where she teaches beginners the basics of horsemanship. Clarke has started learning how to ground drive. She is willing but is very sensitive and has done best in just a halter. Clarke can be a little evasive to catch but is still catchable with some patience and persistence. She does better with at least somewhat regular handling and gets easier to catch as a result. Clarke is a very easy keeper, so much so that she will do best on a dry lot to maintain a healthy body condition score.
