My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Greetings, I'm Toto, nice to meet you! I was surrendered to the Lancaster SPCA approximately 3 years ago. A nice woman adopted me and restored me to health! Unfortunately, she is elderly and no longer able to care for me.

A little bit about me. I'm a dog who needs regular exercise and mental stimulation. I enjoy twice a day walks and exercise with a flirt pole (it's the greatest thing ever). I will require regular grooming and do fantastic at the groomer. I am very food motivated.

As a rescued dog, I do come with some "challenges". I have Separation Anxiety which is now well managed with medication, exercise, and counter conditioning. I have made great strides and can now be left alone for long periods of time. I also guard things if challenged, that are highly desirable to be such as food and bully sticks. My guarding behavior is successfully managed. I also have a rice allergy which is easily managed by feeding a high quality dog food without rice.
