My story

Meet Adoptable PENNY! Penny is a wonderful, playful girl with a nice energy level, weighs 50 lbs, and is estimated to be 2 years old. She is very dedicated to her people and is happiest being by your side. Penny gets along well with the other dogs in her household but is not a friend to the kitties, therefore, will require a home without cats. We advise any children in the household to be at least 10 years old. When Penny was rescued as a stray, she was Heartworm positive. She has finished treatment & is now negative & in very good health! She is current on vaccinations and heartworm/flea preventative, spayed, crate-trained, housebroken, microchipped, and knows basic commands. Penny is currently on Proin Chewable Tablets 2 times a day for some bladder issues that arose after administration of steroids while on her Heartworm treatment. Proin helps regain proper muscle tone for bladder control and works 100%! She has no accidents! The Vet expects Penny will be weaned off the Prion in a couple months & no longer need it. Please do not let this minor issue sway you away from considering this wonderful girl that will be a wonderful companion!
