My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rory is a 1 and 1/2 yr old male who has no history of racing, but heard about pet life and wanted to pursue that, so he hopped the bus to Tucson.Rory is a tad shy.
His small dog and cat status is not yet known.

FOSTER UPDATE:

I’m snuggled up in my foster home. I have the day off from pet doggie classes. Josh, a big, boy greyhound, is my mentor.

I’m a bit shy so I watch my foster peoples and Joshy like a hawk. Wherever they go, I go. Foster mommy laughs at me when I try to move too fast. She says I look like Bambi on ice.

I’m learning how to convince foster mommy to give me whatever I want. She thinks it’s cute when I whimper a little and finish with a small bark. I’m still working on my “puppy eyes” which I’m told will guarantee my success.

I LOVE being outside. I play and sunbathe and just enjoy the fresh air. It’s awesome. I definitely prefer peace and quiet to loud noises.

I think I’d be happiest in a quiet, calm household, without children. I will need time and patience while I adjust, but I’m pretty sure I’ll be a great pet doggie.

UPDATE:

Griffin has rebounded as recently his greyhound brother passed away and he is not doing well as an only dog. He seems to need another another canine companion for direction and security.
