Hi! It's me Canela and I'm ready to find my forever home! I've been dreaming of a nice cozy warm bed and a forever family for many years. People tell me that I'm a good girl and they have been actively sharing my information/pictures to find my peeps. My ideal companion is someone who will love me unconditionally and be able to give me time to adjust to my new environment. I'm looking for someone who has a zest for life by taking long walks/hikes and also someone to chill with - lounging around the house watching Netflix. I enjoy running around the yard doing bunny hops, belly rubs, going for car rides, baths, napping in my crate and just hanging out with my human. I'm good in my crate, walk great on leash, obedient to my handler and know my basic commands. I've been on several walks (on leash) with large and small dogs, my handlers said I did a good job. However, since I've been living in a kennel at the shelter for so many years I'm under socialized and haven't been given the tools I need to play with dogs off leash. Therefore, it would be best that I am the only animal in my new home at this time. I'm very friendly and absolutely love human attention. My heart has been broken but I'm ready to give my person(s) all my love, companionship, loyalty and best of all ME!
