Jasper (b. Jan 2020) is a foxy fella who found himself euth listed in an overcrowded shelter in Texas. With the help of a partnering organization, Muddy Paws was able to bring Jasper and 12 other young dogs 900 miles to rescue. FOSTER UPDATE: Jasper is a young boy who needs lots of playtime and exercise to keep his young brain engaged and happy! Recently, Jasper began receiving some advice from a MP positive enforcement trainer who is helping him learn some coping skills for dealing with situations that make him uncomfortable. He requires a fence. For now, we know that Jasper is pretty excited about being the one and only child in your life, so it is preferred that interested adopters have no other dogs, small animals, or human children in the home. This handsome boy currently lives in an adult-only household and is happy as can be; Jasper is housebroken, rests comfortably in a kennel (or your bed!), and can't wait for a summer full of adventure with the people he loves! We'll continue to post updates on Jasper's progress and furever needs as we learn more.
The suggested adoption donation for Jasper is $415. We are a 501c3 organization which means that your donation may be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Your donation goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our animals in rescue, as well as providing supportive services to animals in homes.
Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dog’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the pet. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver.
Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each dog, based on the dog’s needs. If you and the dog are not a good match, we will help you select another dog, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months.
