This is Rose! Rose is a 3-year old Australian Cattle Dog mix. She is full of energy and loves to play all the time. She is very smart and learns tricks quickly. Rose loves enrichment activities and being close to her favorite humans. At the end of the day, Rose loves to settle down by your legs and snore the night away.

Rose is classified as a fear reactive dog. Thus, she needs a family that is able to / has experience with working with her conditions. Rose would do best in a family with either a larger dog or as the only pet. She is fearful of small children, thus a home with older children or adults is recommended. Rose would not do well in an apartment / suburban setting. A home with a large fenced-in yard is recommended.

Due to her reactivity, she will fearfully bark at unfamiliar bicyclists / joggers / other dogs. She is currently on an anti-anxiety medication and has gone through anxiety-coping training before, which has improved her state-of-mind.
