Please welcome her to ODAAT! Dee Dee came into rescue in September and we feel she is officially ready to start her journey of finding her forever home! She came from an elderly couples home, where they could no longer care for her. She was indoor/outdoor. She hid for weeks on end after coming into rescue. Periodically she'd pop her head out to take it all in but not for long. Then one day, she was standing in the kitchen, her foster mom sat on the floor and started talking to her. She came right over and would not stop nudging for her foster mom to pet her. You could tell she truly missed the love. She will need an adopter that will understand she needs time to trust you, to feel safe and she will give you her whole heart. She does really well with other cats, she often goes up to them and gives kisses and rubs her head on them. However I feel a home with a like-minded, calm kitty pal would be best for her. She would love a home that is laid-back and an adopter that will give her a ton of affection. She loves treat time and warm, comfy beds. She is litter box trained, spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. Help us find this sweet girl a forever home. Please share.
