BONNIE "Bonnaroo" is easy to fall in love with! We know what you are wondering, and yes, BONNIE is absolutely all legs!! This sweet girl is full of puppy energy when playing with her 4-legged foster sister(s), but when everyone calms down at night, she just wants to cuddle. She has not been around cats and although she absolutely loves to play with all the dogs, she can also be an only child, as long as her family can take her on adventures and have play dates with other dogs or go to daycare. BONNIE’S foster sister is a rat terrier, so she's great with tiny dogs, but we think she would be happiest with a dog who enjoys playing games like tug of war or chase in the yard as much as she does. BONNIE can get a little frightened of the dark and loud noises, so she likes to stay close to her person. BONNIE is very food motivated, so we immediately started teaching her tricks and enrolled her in an obedience class, which she graduated WITH HONORS!! She is crate trained, potty trained and will do absolutely anything for a sweet potato treat! She is a talker, so when she’s ready to come in from the yard, she’ll let you know & if your cuddling and she wants to play, she’ll give you a little bow-wow-howl..... part of her goofy personality which makes us all laugh!!! BONNIE is the greatest love bug and the goofiest pup who will bring her lucky forever family so much happiness and joy!

BONNIE is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccinations.
Her $340 adoption fee includes the cost of transport to Nashville after she is officially adopted.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Pet Express Transport (https://petexpresstupelo.wordpress.com) for our Nashville, Knoxville and New England adoptions. For our Midwest adopters, we have our own private transport.

Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
