Sunny is a small female,  who is 8 years old and who comes to us from a breeder. She has birthed many puppies and now it is her time to enjoy things she hasn't enjoyed before like dog beds, toys, pets and treats. She recently had puppies so her coat thinned out during the pregnancy. It is growing back in beautifully. She gets along great with other dogs and loves to play with them. We would love to find Sunny a home with a playmate..   As a breeder dog, she did not get much time connecting  with people so she is fearful and takes time for her to warm up with people. She is on prozac which is helping her anxiety. Since being with her foster mom she has become crate trained and is potty trained unless she is anxious. Prozac has controlled her anxious peeing. She has also learned to take treats from her foster mom’s hand. Sunny will need a special adopter  who is patient and kind with her. It is amazing process to watch a dog transform by the power of love and dog treats! Dogs are so resilient!  It will take time and we can give you training ideas to help Sunny learn how to flourish as a dog and be less anxious.  Local adoption only. She must have a fenced yard, No exceptions will be made.
