Say hello to MINNIE !! Minnie has come a long way in just over 5 weeks. We are so fortunate to have a wonderful supporter that has sponsored her adoption fee to an approved home. Minnie was found on a busy road on a rainy, cold day, she was starving & showed signs of abuse. She will need an experienced chihuahua person as she is sweet, yet quirky & feisty. If you are looking for a dog to dress up, Minnie is NOT your gal. She does not like sweaters/dresses. She is good for her harness but no clothes :) She is learning how to play and has been great with her foster family, they have been slow, patient, and given her the space and pace needed to settle in. She does well in a crate, enjoys a leash walk & her favorite thing is sitting in your lap & being petted gently. We are recommending no small children or cats at this time. She is in excellent health & currently on a monthly heartworm preventive as well as flea/tick medicine. She is available for adoption in the Upstate area. We also do vet reference checks as well as home checks while maintaining social distance. Thank you for your interest t in Minnie :)
