Maximoose is a sweetheart. He loves his hoomans and other dogs. He came from a home with cats so is reported to be good with cats however, his foster home does not have cats to share experience with us. He loves, loves, loves going for walks and is such a gentlemen on a leash. He is very vocal and likes to talk about everything one way or another. He has discovered the toybox has some great things in them but they are much more fun to take to your hooman and get them to participate in play! He is house trained and will go to the door and whine to go potty. He has some separation anxiety (so we have not crated him) and will sit by the door and whine incessantly to make sure his hooman knows he cannot get to them (even with other dogs around to keep him company). But if the are locked in another room, he will also walk around whining to let us know part of the family cannot be reached. He likes car rides and an open car door is an invitation to hop in (even when you are trying to unload groceries). He is curious about what is on the counter but has not gone counter surfing. He does have a piercing bark to warn when there are people around he does not know. He is working on not jumping on people when saying hello but he so loves to cuddle, it is a hard thing for him to not give hugs when seeing people he loves.
