My story

Maverick arrived at the shelter as a stray 2.05.2021. He has made great progress with his shyness since his admission and is more friendly now. He has gorgeous eyes and his coat appears to be in good condition. His disposition with other animals and children is unknown but he gets along with the cats he rooms with. For more information on Maverick, please contact the Bedford County Humane Society at 814-623-8968 any day between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

Additional adoption info

We try to have a thorough process that ensures animals are placed in loving homes that are capable of caring for the animal. We have an application that requires references and we interview both the references and the applicants, before we place a pet.
