My story

Hi my name is Joy. I can't say that I have always been a joy to be around for the people taking care of me. I can say I have started to enjoy what humans can provide for me like delicious canned food and some pretty nice head rubs and scratches. Yes I am very slow to warm up but once I do, you will be glad I'm in your life. Please bring a little joy to my life and apply to adopt me! I want a home were I can have my very own people. Please be patient while waiting for a call back. Volunteers that have full time jobs check applications.

If we get an application that does not have a vet reference or a personal reference, the application will be delayed because we will need to contact you to get that information. Filling it out completely and accurately is the best way to ensure you get the pet you want.

Animal rescue of Carroll will host a dog and cat shelter servicing and caring for lost, unwanted or homeless dogs and cats, with a focus on adoption, education, cruelty prevention, spay and neuter programs, and reuniting lost dogs and cats with their owners.
