Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I'm Charlie, a playful and affectionate 1.25-year-old Dachshund / Terrier mix. I'm house-trained, simply tell me "potty" and I will go outside! I also respond to commands like "blanket," "treat," & "steak" (I may be a little indulged:D).
I am a huge snuggle bug and need lots of attention/togetherness to be at my best. I also love things like runs in the neighborhood/park/trails or playing with other dogs because I have friendly energy to spare! When at the kennel, I play well with ALL dogs and go for hours.
I am adored by my parents -- that's why we're looking for the best home for me even though it's hard. Ever since my baby brother came home a few months ago, despite their best efforts, it has saddened me greatly and it shows. They want me to be happy again.
I would be in heaven in a house with another dog or two or a family with older kids. I think dogs AND older kids would be my preference -- more people to love me!
