My story

Hello, I'm Trixie! I'm an affectionate & chatty lady with big beautiful blue eyes and the softest fur. I am shy at first but with love and patience, I'll come out of my shell & become your new best friend. I like ''my space'' (esp. the top of a cat tower!) but when I'm ready for affection, I meow & give pats with my paws to make it known.
I'm very bonded with my brother, Cheetoh, so we must be adopted as a pair. I think it's fun to sit on him sometimes just to annoy him but I secretly love to have him nearby for comfort. No young children in our new home because too much commotion really startles me & Cheetoh needs his boundaries respected. We are waiting for our quiet home with patient and experienced cat parents to feel safe, secure & live happily ever after. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationJune 22, 2022, 12:15 am

Go meet their pets

CAWS does not have a conventional shelter facility - all CAWS animals waiting for adoption are in foster homes. The number of animals we can help find new homes for is closely linked to how many CAWS foster homes are available. For additional information regarding how you, too, can become a foster, please see our fostering page located on our web site! CAWS volunteers bring cats and dogs to the PetSmart near 2100 South and 300 West in South Salt Lake on the third and fourth weekends of each month We are also at the Sugarhouse PETCO (1165 Wilmington Ave) the first Saturday of each month.
