My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our #charcuteriecuties are now 11 weeks old (DOB 11/19/20) and ready to hunt for their forever families! Mom is a classic beautiful mutt and we have no idea who dad is. We expect the puppies to all be medium to large. Born to Brie, who could easily be the most resilient and remarkably sweet Momma dog we have ever encountered, these babies have been through the wringer in their young lives. Bottle fed, some tube fed, all hand reared... they have overcome life-threatening circumstances more than once already. Brie had a seizure when they were only a week old and her subsequent need for medication to prevent them, these babies were unable to stay as a unit. We have done the very best job we can to ensure they got the socialization, discipline, love, care and will need families dedicated to continuing with toward that purpose.
They will all need yards to enjoy and virtually all of them will need older siblings to learn from, play with, and who will help teach them appropriate doggy manners.

Meet Raisin!
Miss Raisin is a definite rough and tumble gal. She likes bones as big as she is, pouncing her foster siblings and brother Peppadew, and absolutely identifies as a big dog. She’s into tug o’war and not scared to challenge the big dogs in her home or put Dewey in his place when he gets too rough. Once the play is done and it’s time to relax, Raisin also very much enjoys cuddling in your lap. Even though we expect her to be on the larger side, her forever family should be prepared Raisin will likely always be a lap-lover! Raisin is in a home with dogs larger than she is and doing great with them. She’s been raised with older children and loves them, though her foster Momma is her favorite. Raisin’s disposition leads us to believe she would be ok with kids of all ages though the anticipated puppy stages of jumping and nipping are yet to come. She will also be large enough to knock down toddlers and has no sense of personal space so that should also be expected.
Raisin isn’t on the wild side... yet, anyway and seems to prefer the calm demeanor of her foster sibling Dave over the rambunctiousness of her sibling.

Raisin is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption donation is only $350! As with all puppies adopted through Maxx & Me, her adopter will need to commit to continue working with a positive reinforcement trainer of their choice to help her continue to become a well mannered and confident girl.
