Choco came to Dog Town after his owner died, and there was not a safe place for him to go.
He's about 12 years old, loves people, and is leash trained. He comes across as kind of a curmudgeon, but he's got a heart of gold. Choco is used to being an only dog, and he's not a fan of cats. Perfect home for him would be with either no kids, or with older kids (10 yrs+) and no other animals.
Choco just needs a nice, mellow home to spend his retirement years in. He still has a lot of spunk and loves going for walks in between naps.
All of our dogs are available for a $200 donation. This includes them being spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and fully vaccinated.
To adopt a dog, we require an approved pre-application, as well as a securely fenced yard. This means an actual, physical, fence. 'Invisible' fences are not acceptable, sorry. If you live in an apartment and do not have a yard, we are not able to adopt to you.
