My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet volunteer favorite and absolute sweetheart Jolene!  

This cutie is a 54lb 7-8 year old mixed breed pooch, who enjoys snuggling (and snoring!) on the couch but is also up for walking around the neighborhood.  Jolene is good with the trifecta...other dogs, cats, and kids! She even attended a Christmas event in her native Texas, where she found herself in need of a new home after her owner passed away.  Jolene still is as happy as can be though and her foster dad says her tail is wagging about 85% of the time she is awake.

Though well controlled (she has yet to have one with us) Jolene is on medication for seizures and will need to continue that throughout her life.  We also recommend a joint supplement for some arthritis in her back legs though she doesn't let that stop her from walking around the city of Hoboken.
