My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Duncan is such a cute fellow. He was rescued from a rv filled with over 5 dogs that were locked in and abandoned. He was put on the euthanasia list at a shelter in Kentucky due to overcrowding, but we were able to rescue him.

He is vaccinated, neutered, just had his heartworm prevention and flea and tick prevention for the month. He is a fully healthy and a happy boy.

We prefer him to be adopted to a house that already has a dog. He is dog friendly and needs a buddy to teach him what it is like to be a dog in a happy home. His foster brother, Blake, has been teaching how to play and what toys are. He knows how to sit. He is a quick learner and wants to please his people. He loves to play outside and go for walks.

He would do best in a house that has a routine most of the time. He is mostly housebroken, but can have some accidents when his schedule is off. He has a little bit of separation anxiety, but it is minimal when he is on a routine and with his foster brother that keeps him company.

He loves to cuddle with people and other dogs. His foster brother is teaching him out to play with different toys. He has learned to play tug with another dog. His current foster home is in an apartment and he does fine with that as long as he gets to go for a walk. He likes to be stylish with multiple bandanas.

He has not been around kids to our knowledge. He does not show behaviors that would concern us as far as living with kids. He is gentle and probably would enjoy kids playing with him.

If interested please fill out a foster application with Wagging Tales Rescue located on their website. We do a meet and greet and home checks. We do expect updates after being adopted. Feel free to reach out with any questions.
