Rocket is a 6 year old pure-bred Siamese cat, and the friendliest cat you've ever met. He is extremely vocal and wants to be by your side or on your lap any chance he gets. He tends to attach himself to his humans and develops deep bonds. They say that Siamese are 'velcro cats', and that is especially true of Rocket. We love him so very much.
Why are we re-homing him you ask? Three years ago we adopted a large, high energy golden retriever, and Rocket has never gotten used to her. While their relationship has improved over time, he has never gotten comfortable around her and experiences severe anxiety. Rocket recently spent some time at a friend's house (a dog-free home), and he is a different cat. He's much more relaxed and affectionate. He doesn't hide for hours a day, and he seems much happier. Rocket does get along with other cats. He currently lives with a female cat the same age, but he doesn't do well with dogs due to his anxiety.
Could you be the perfect home for Rocket?
