DOB: 2006 - Adopted Feb 2021

River is looking for a couch companion who will appreciate his cuddling expertise—he really is quite the pro! This fellow loves nothing more than snuggling up beside you and leaning into you so closely that there isn’t an inch of space between you and him. River is an owner-surrender and he obviously came from a family where he was used to being with people. He just adores being petted, pampered and having his soft fur brushed. When he isn’t busy basking in your pets and pats, River is happy to catch a snooze in a warm sunbeam or contently gaze out the window and watch the world go by River is also a great conversationalist and will chatter away to you, particularly when it is meal time. His enthusiasm for food is particularly evident when he sprints to his bowl for his breakfast. River is friendly, funny, sweet, curious, good-natured and easy-going. He would be okay as a single pet. He is in good health and is on a weight-management food.
