My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poppy is sweet with a little side sass! An adorable chihuahua mix, Poppy loves warms blankets, stuffed animals & absolutely LOVES to snuggle. I mean, LOVES, to snuggle! She is a complete lap dog & while playful, she would lounge around all day if she could!

Our family got Poppy when she was just 8 weeks ago. We have three small children & while Poppy has never been aggressive, she isn’t exactly their biggest fan. She can get rather vocal & even though we know she’s a puppy, her “ playful nibbles” sometimes don’t seem so playful. (She has never bit any of our children or gotten aggressive, but it’s very clear they don’t make her happy.) She would much rather be with an adult, in a peaceful, quiet house & unfortunately that’s just not what our house is.

She is working on potty training & is almost completely trained. When a guest comes over, she gets protective but calms down in about 20 minutes.

She is pretty timid & shy in new places but just needs someone to hold her. :)
