Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maxine is a lovely and very gentle, mellow 2-year-old pupper who looks like she could be a full bred Australian Cattle Dog/ Blue Heeler. But I don’t know that for sure – her coloring, size, and demeaner are very much that of a Cattle Dog.
Maxine is very timid – she may have been a street dog, but she has absolutely no fear aggression – she just takes a little while to warm up. She has probably been an outdoor doggie most of her life, but now she comes into the bedroom at night and enjoys sleeping on her doggie bed by the fireplace.
There isn’t the tiniest bit of aggression in lovely Maxine - she’s sweet, mellow, tolerant, and well-behaved. She isn’t the least bit snippy or nasty, so – she’s just a mellow little buddy!
It is her gentle, calm, and great desire to be loved that makes Maxine such an attractive buddy.
Maxine is a love bug with very good manners – she comes when she is called and never wanders off – she wants to be with her family and will love you forever. It just will take her a week or so to feel confident enough to sit with you all the time.
Maxine plays well with other dogs and walks pretty well on a leash. She just enjoys being with you!
She is also fine with kitties – she’s even willing to share her food bowl with them once-in-awhile.
Max weighs about 30 pounds full grown – she is a wonderful medium sized puppy!
She is completely house-trained and crate-trained, isn’t a barker or a digger, and loves a good run.
She has a lovely face with an inquisitive expression and her eyes are always on you.
She’s active and athletic, so she’d be fabulous as a camping, hiking, biking, or running pal.
Max will likely do best in a quiet environment with a lot of one-on- one attention.
Of course, she’s spayed and up to date on all her shots. I have all her records to pass on to her forever family.
This pretty girl is completely delightful. She loves the car, will follow you around, never strays away, and bonds beautifully to her humans. She really has it all!
I am a firm believer in allowing people to take a new buddy home for a “sleepover," to be sure your family, your other pets, and wonderful Maxine all get along. Of course, we ALWAYS take our rascals back if things don’t work out.
To meet this lovely and unusually beautiful pup (and maybe even have a sleepover), pls
