My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


5-month-old puppy needs loving, savvy home. Affectionate but shy and takes time to open up to new people. Once she does, she loves to snuggle and has the most wonderful thick, silky, rabbit-soft fur and a beautiful smile. Loves large adult dogs who like puppies. Our petite older Akbash does NOT like puppies and continually grouses at them, whether they're misbehaving or not (which annoys without teaching them). The puppy has befriended our extremely athletic young adult Komondor mix, who is increasingly siding with the pup whenever she tests the older dog to the point of being disciplined. It's becoming a game to poke the old lady until she can't stand it, then watch her "big sister" overpower, frustrate and intimidate the older dog. Our life circumstances don't allow for continually supervising them, or keeping them separate in a way they won't be miserable. She needs a home with a playful, assertive adult dog. She has a spay appointment.
