SNOOKS IS A COURTESY LISTING WHO LIVES WITH HER OWNER IN LAFAYETTE, INDIANA. CBBCR OFFERS COURTESY LISTINGS AS A COMMUNITY SERVICE. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS DOG, PLEASE CONTACT THE OWNER DIRECTLY: SDJOHNSON1294@GMAIL.COM
Snooks is an adult female BC mix who has some anxiety issues, with thunderstorms and with small children. She is on medication (Trazadone) for the anxiety issues but would like a home where there are no children, with an owner who understands BCs and anxiety disorders.
Please note that Snooks has twice nipped at small children, most likely when she felt she could not get away from them and was in a defensive mode. She is not comfortable around children. The bites were likely defensive in nature but she should not have a chance to repeat the behavior.
Snooks may also have some separation anxiety; her owner says this about her:
'She is obedient for the most part, she could use some more training (leash, stay, etc.). She is very loving and loves to have all the attention and go on car rides. She is potty trained and has very to little accidents in the house. She is crate trained. She would do best with someone that can be with her majority of the time.'
Please also note that Snooks will need a heartworm test to complete her health record, and a potential adopter should discuss that with her current owner.
If you can offer Snooks a calm, ordered home with assistance in coping with her anxiety, please contact her owner at the e-mail address above!
