Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tucker is a 6 year-old Pitbull/English Pointer mix.
- An incredibly sweet dog, he is always trying to elicit love and affection from everyone he meets
- He has very little fur which makes for fast & easy baths
- Tucker does not drool but he will lick
- He was a rescue dog
- I've had other dogs/breeds and I can honestly say that Tucker is the best dog I have ever had
- He listens well and he has NEVER tried to run away
- He does NOT do well with being crated. He has severe anxiety when locked in a crate. I tried crate-training; it did not work. He has free reign of the house when I am gone at work and he behaves perfectly! (Never chews or gets into anything when left alone)
Reason for new home:
- I'm a single father who works a LOT and Tucker deserves more attention & exercise
- Tucker is confused around children after an incident where an 8-yr old hit him on the head; he bit her (warning bite) and instantly let go - so he requires someone who can teach him how to interact with kids
