My story

Precious is a gorgeous 15 year old sweet little torbie/tabby lady looking for her soft place to fall. She came to us after her dad passed away and she ended up homeless. She was so stressed she was under weight and had pulled out some of her fur. She now has a healthy weight and her gorgeous fur is in excellent shape. She loves to be pet behind her ears and all over. She will sit on your lap and purr for hours. She also has spunk in her older age and still loves to play. She is healthy for her age. Precious is a treat to come home to and anyone would be lucky to come home to this sweet companion. Precious would prefer to be the queen of the household in her senior years and must be adopted as the only pet as she doesn't care for other cats or dogs.

Why adoption is a great option

Precious, a Alexandria Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Alexandria, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Alexandria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alexandria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alexandria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alexandria paves the way for another one to be saved.
