Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chico was adopted from a shelter about 5 years ago and was estimated to be about 1.5 at the time (so maybe 6.5 - 7 years now). He’s a super sweet dog who loves to cuddle. He’ll sometimes obey simple commands like “sit” and “stay”. He’s excellent with kids. He was a great companion for our family, but once we got a large, therapy dog for our son, Chico felt displaced.
Chico’s strengths: soft, cuddly, affectionate, gentle, good with kids, some basic obedience commands, potty trained. Loves to be the only dog.
Chico’s weaknesses: wants to be the “alpha” dog so he’s competitive with another dog in the home. Barks when people come to the door. Occasionally “marks” in the house. He’s potty trained, so I believe this is more of a behavior issue and not a lacking skill. I would expect him to mark several times at first, but then it should become very rare.
