My story

Anna Banana is a little chunky sweetheart! She may be short, but she packs a personality into her little body!

She really bonds with her people and wants to be with them always. She loves a good cuddle and sleeping in the bed! She is only 30# so you will have PLENTY of room left to sleep too :)

She is crate and potty trained. Her house manners are great!

She loves hanging out and playing with other dogs, big or small. She really benefits from being a part of the pack, especially as she is adjusting to a new environment.

She can be nervous and anxious. She sometimes takes CBD treats to help her overcome her fears. The ideal home for her would give her plenty of time to come out of her shell. Once she bonds with her people it's nothing but wiggles and cuddles all day! She even likes kids, but would be ideal situation if grandkids just visited and didn't live with her. (Kind of like a nice auntie- she is great with kids in moderate doses :)

Additional adoption info

Adoption application required.

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..

If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

Go meet their pets

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
