My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dobby - Chihuahua - Male - 10 Months - www.twyla.org

If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org

This is Dobby: Dobby is Chihuahua mix. Approximately 10 months old. He had a rough start to life but and came to us with injuries to his eye and jaw, but with some love, food, and a surgery he has blossomed into the amazing pup you see now. He is very food motivated and will pretty much do anything for a snack. He is crate and house trained. Playful, but likes to cuddle too. He is very funny and has never meet a stranger.
Dobby does not like sharing his food - likely a "leftover" of his previous life - he should be fed separate from other dogs. He currently lives with a very sweet and gently Pittie and a slightly grumpy Jack Russell mix, and he has done great with them. He is good with kids but would be better suited with a household that has older kids (ages 7 or older).  He has no problem letting you know he wants cuddles or if he has something to say about something but not in an annoying way, it is pretty cute.  Keep in mind he did have a hard start in life, his jaw had to be reconstructed, and eye removed so it is possible that later in life he will need extra vet care.  All in all he is an amazing fella that is full of life, love and whatever life has to offer him!

Dobby is looking for a home where someone is home a lot - he is not a fan of being alone. He would do best in a home with another dog same size energy level as him, older kids are fine. He is looking for an active home that involves him in their daily lives.

***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
