My story

Sasha is a very friendly, affectionate, laid back girl that came into our rescue when another rescue that she was with had to downsize and could no longer take care of her. She is currently being fostered in a home with several other dogs. She can be dog selective but gets along great with the foster's young male lab mix named Roger and has gone on long walks with one of our volunteer's female dogs and seems to really like her so it just depends on the dog. Our volunteer, who was briefly staying at Sasha's foster mom's house, spent a lot of time with Sasha and said that she would light up when she saw the leash and would do a happy dance which was really sweet and endearing. Going for walks was the highlight of her day. Sasha also loves getting treats, still plays with toys and loves getting affection and attention. She's a gentle, calm soul looking for her special person.

Since Sasha's foster mom works full time and has a busy lifestyle we all agree that it would be great if Sasha could find a foster home where she could get the attention she deserves so fostering Sasha is also an option and there is no cost for fostering. Vet care and food is provided.

Sasha is heartworm negative and on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. She would make a wonderful walking and cuddle buddy! Please reach out if you're interested in fostering or adopting this special senior girl!
