Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Baxter is the quintessential stately adult cat. He’s a super sweet, friendly boy who spent his first years outside, living on the porch of his caretaker but now enjoys life inside. Sadly, his owner recently passed away unexpectedly, leaving him looking for a new home. This guy wants nothing more than a lap to lay on and some yummy treats. He’ll roll all over to show his appreciation, and even loves to have his belly rubbed!
Baxter is FIV+, which isn’t too much of a concern now that he lives inside. He also has a mid-grade heart murmur which our vet says is stable and not life-threatening. He stands to live a long, healthy life as long as he’s provided annual veterinary care, which is what’s recommended for kitties anyway.
Baxter’s ideal home is quiet, with a chill cat or two, adults only or teenagers over 14. He’s not a fan of dogs. We promise that if you adopt Baxter, he’ll bring much joy & love to your life.
