I adopted the Ilyana (AKA the Momma Cat) when she was just a year old and had been a stray. A few weeks in, I realized she was pregnant. I kept one of the kittens, a small black cat named Odessa, and they have lived together ever since. They are both very sweet and affectionate indoor American Shorthairs with lively personalities. Ilyana is the boss and can appear stern or cranky sometimes but is actually a very loving cat. She loves to snuggle, especially inside a blanket, and play. She mostly keeps to herself but loves attention too.
Odessa can be timid at first but is one of most loving and affectionate cats I've ever known. She has lived her whole life thus far inside and is somewhat more sheltered. She loves to perch and watch birds and other animals out the window. She can also be very talkative when she wants to and can carry on a 'conversation' in meows with people. Both cats love being pet on the head and Odessa loves being brushed and having her neck scratched.
