Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucy is an incredibly sweet momma dog who came to us last Thanksgiving as a pregnant stray. She has finally finished nursing her puppies (born 12/11/2020) and will be available for adoption at the end of March - after she heals from her recent spay surgery on March 10.
Lucy has a gentle and calm demeanor, mixed with just the right amount of silliness that shows up during playtime. Lucy quickly warms up to new people and will be content snuggling on your lap. She allows all handling, likes children, ignores cats, and communicates well with other dogs. Lucy came into our rescue as part of a very balanced pack of 4 littles. After fostering Lucy for the last 3 months, it's evident that Lucy would be happiest living with another dog(s). While Lucy tolerates dogs of all sizes, she prefers the company of calm, similarly-sized littles (under 30 lbs). If you have a dog that is looking for a gentle friend, please consider adding this amazing little 12 lbs. of sweetness to your pack.
**At this time, we only do adoptions in the Phoenix valley and surrounding cities - within a 60 mile radius.
