My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Candida (Candi) is a beautiful, smart, loving dog. She is housebroken, will sit for treats or to catch a ball, knows “wait” and is working on “stay” and “heel.” She is full of energy and would love a fenced yard to run in and play. In her quiet times she is all cuddles and love. She is devoted to her people, great with children older than about 8 but might bowl over a toddler. She would do best as an only dog in an active family who will love her, play tug, throw the ball and wrestle.

We adopted Candi from a shelter recently. We are in our 70's and have since realized we simply cannot provide the activities her high energy levels need.

Candi is eagerly waiting for her forever home.
