My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buttercup is an adorable 8 mo old Chihuahua/Pug mix. We took in the whole litter a couple of weeks ago. They had very little socialization and were very nervous of everything. During the time we have had them, they have been crate trained, introduced to walking on a leash and met lots of new people and animals. They all get along with other dogs and cats! Although they are doing much better now, they are still a little nervous when first meeting new people, but they warm up quickly (especially with treats). They love food! As with all puppies, they are very active, playful, curious and could benefit from basic obedience classes to learn some more manners. Buttercup has such a cute underbite and her ears flip back when she runs, giving her the most goofy look! Out of the group, Buttercup is the best at entertaining herself. She can take a toy and sit in a corner, chewing away. She likes to explore and is rather quiet. Although she can be fine on her own, she does like to sleep in bed with you, and she stands like a little meerkat for a treat! She also likes wrestling with other dogs. She doesn't like loud noises or chaos so a home without small children would be best. Buttercup would enjoy the simple life with her people, and would be happy playing fetch at home to burn off some of that pup energy!
