Meet our handsome hunk Trip, aka Trippy Trip! Trippy wasn’t always this handsome though. This 4-5 year old 55 pound pittie mix was found as a stray and not in good shape. The tip of his tail was exposed, his front left leg was swollen with possible puncture wounds, a lump/bump was on his cheek, had a distended stomach and was very heartworm positive. It is sad to think what his life had been for the last 4 years. That ends now. Trippy has been treated for heartworms and is now safe with our rescue, heading to in his foster home.

Trippy loves to love everyone. He is so affectionate and sweet that we can’t believe someone neglected him the way they did. He tested well with dogs at the shelter and wiggles his little body everywhere but he would prefer a calmer dog to live with or a home being the only dog and the center of attention.
