Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We adopted Saphira in 2014 when she was 3 years old. She was a former show dog and her breeder intended to place her in a breeding program, however, she was diagnosed with having arthritis, so she was retired and spayed. Saphira's arthritis has not been much of an issue, and she is now 10. She certainly shows the signs of age, but does not complain of pain. Overall, Saphira has been a great pet and has gotten along with our male cane corso (also 10), as well as our 2 cats. However, after we had our first child (who is now 21 months), Saphira has not integrated well. She snapped at our 21-month-old son and her behavior around him is unpredictable. When we adopted her from the breeder, she had been around children, but they were middle and high school-aged. As such, I believe she would be just fine with older children, but unsure about younger children. We have another boy due 3/27/21 and believe it is in both our family's best interest and Saphira's that she find a new loving home.
