My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Archie has been in training with Found Training Center at the PupStart Program for a few months working on his basic obedience and socialization skills. He was initially found as a stray in Alabama and has won the hearts of every person and dog he's met thus far.

Archie is a medium energy smart dog that enjoys working, training, agility, toys, and social play. Archie is great with other dogs and has proven to be very savvy navigating large playgroups. He loves dog park environments where he can socialize, run around, and play.

Archie is hugely food motivated which makes him very focused when he trains. He is a very sporty dog that loves hikes, long walks, playing at the beach and games. His absolute favorite game is fetch and play with toys with his human. Because Archie is still young he will need routine exercise outlets to keep him busy and stimulated. He is very social with his handler and wants to play WITH them rather than by himself with a toy. He truly is man's best friend if there ever was one.

Archie is very well mannered in his crate and does best with a routine potty schedule. Although he has been in a foster home for a few weeks, he will need a family that will guide him through new experiences as he develops into an adult dog. He would do amazingly with a confident dog in the home to model for him how to navigate new environments and people.

Archie is a dog's dog looking for someone he can play and bond with. If this sounds like the kind of guys you are looking for, let us know! Please direct any questions to brittney@caninesandcompany.org.
