Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Joey was shot in the head as a pup in Qatar, and initially couldn't see or walk, however he had a miracle recovery. His sight returned and he gets around as normal. Joey is a very sweet boy, but he is extremely timid. He makes good eye contact and will do touch, but he is very hand shy. He will need a patient owner that will give him space to settle in and feel comfortable, and will eventually work with him on building confidence. He would not do well in a home where he will be coddled, fussed over, or where his fears will be validated. Joey loves playing with other dogs, and really shines when he is running with a pack. Because of this, we feel Joey would do best in a home with another confident dog or dogs. We feel strongly that Joey will be a very rewarding dog to the person willing to give him a sense of security, structure and love.
