Here's what the humans have to say about me:
NOTE: Instructions on how to apply for Waffle are at the end of this bio.
Waffle is such a handsome boy and he is looking for a great home! His foster home has 2 larger dogs and Waffle gets along fine with them. He hasn’t been around cats or young children, so we can't testify about how he will respond; but, he has never shown any aggression at all towards anyone.
He is super sweet and affectionate. He’s smart and we are teaching him not to jump up on people and he is learning basic commands. He pretty much knows “sit” and “lay down,” now.
He is kennel trained, house trained, and will scratch at the door when he needs to go out. No separation anxiety and he doesn’t dig or bark excessively. Waffle does well on leash, but he has to be coaxed or lifted into a car; but once he's in, he rides great. Teaching him to get in the car on command will be our next goal.
He is still young, so the home needs to be 'puppy-proofed' and toys and chew-bones should be provided. Otherwise, like any other young dog, he will steal your shoes, underwear, or anything else not put away! =)
