Looking for a fun loving companion who has a little pep in her step? Our lovable Pepper is just the girl you are looking for! She loves to go on walks and follow her nose exploring her world through the smells. After the exploring is all done. Pepper is ready to snuggle up for movie time! She keeps her kennel clean and will need a little leash work, but all the love she has to give is worth it all. So come on out and meet peppy Pepper and you will fall for her and never want to be without her!

We work by appointment only and work on a first come basis. If you are interested in making an appointment, please call the HCHS at 512-793-5463. You can see all our available animals at HillCountryHumaneSociety.org.
All our adoptable dogs are treated for fleas, given DHPPV and Bordatella vaccines and are de-wormed.
When you adopt one of our animals it will be micro chipped and registered at the time of adoption. Also, if not already altered, you will receive a voucher to get your animal spay/neutered.
While we do our best to determine the breeds of our dogs, the majority are strays, and we have only general appearance, coat type, size, ear type, tail, tongue color and coat color to base breed on. It is always possible when adopting a puppy that it will change dramatically to look like another breed.
