BRIDGERTON NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!

Come meet BRIDGERTON and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (December 11th) from 12-3 pm at the Rockville PetSmart in Kensington (5154 Nicholson Ln, Kensington, MD 20895)!

Name: Bridgerton      Best Guess for Breed: Lab mix

Best Guess for Age: 6.5 years as of June 2022      SEX:  Male

Approximate Weight: 57.8 lbs.

Gets Along With:  Other dogs; We don't recommend him for a home with kids under 12 or cats, but happy to discuss this further in a screening.

Currently Living at:  DC area foster home. He lives with other dogs!

Bridgerton is Looking For: Bridgerton can't wait for a family that will love him for all the goofiness he has to offer! He's heard of baskets of toys, belly rubs on demand, and training! He would love a home with acres of land for him to run around and be the goofy boy that he is! He can't wait to be adopted and be the best pup he can be.

What My Foster Says About Me: Bridgerton is a happy affectionate dog and does great in the house and follows all the rules. He is medium to low energy with a yard. Bridgerton has shown some separation anxiety when in the crate but none if he is left loose in the house. Other than when people leave, he enjoys his crate and often naps in it. Bridgerton can be very vocal on leash and will need work on his leash aggression and barrier reactivity but plays very well with the other dogs in the house and at day care.

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.

TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckydog.

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption. That said, we cannot make any guarantees about age, breed or temperament.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!

Go meet their pets

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.
