Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DONATIONS NEEDED FOR MEDICAL, Updated 6-18-05
Charity is a tiny 4 lb, spayed, 3yr old, pure bred Chihuahua who has a SPIRIT that could win over anyone.
She is crate trained and potty trained. Charity gets along well with others, however needs a home with smaller dogs, no one over 20lbs.
Charity has had a hard life. She was bought by a person and then passed to another, and then ended up with an elderly man.
The elderly man did not mean to neglect her, however would forget to feed, water, give her meds, keep her clean, etc.
She does have some medical needs, however we are trying to figure them out! At his time we have found that she is hypoglycemic, and neeeds to be feed 2 square meals a day (and maybe a snack mid day)!
She has been through 3 blood tests and all looks good, she does have a skin infection (clearing up nicely), that is being treated through meds and baths. Charity also may have some nerve damage in her limbs, however she is being tested and doing hydro therapy to strengthen them.
More to come, on her medical needs once we know!
She will not be ready for adoption until the end of May first of Sept 2005.
If you believe that your home would be a wonderful new forever place for this pet, please email the address to the right so that we may send you an application to complete and return to us.
Anyone interested in our dogs or cats will be required to fill out an adoption contract which includes a home visit by one of our volunteers.
All our dogs will be spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and heartworm free and all our cats will be spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and Feline Leuk and FIV free.
We do ask for a $150/dog and $110/cat adoption donation.
This pet is: up to date with routine shots, already house trained, altered
