Meet Molly! She is a German shepherd mix approx 1 year 6 mos old weighing about 60 lbs. Molly is a happy sweet girl who is playful and loves to go on walks. She is good on leash but still learning not to pull. Molly knows commands: sit, stay, lay down, come, place. She is also housebroken.

Molly was adopted from the Ramona animal shelter in Dec 2020 to a family with young children and they feel Molly is not the right fit due to her being nervous around young kids. Her family loves her and this decision has been a hard one. Below is what Molly’s owner says about her

She nervous around men at first. -. It took her about 1 week to get used to my husband, but they are great friends, now. She is OK with our cat, after weeks of slowly acquainting them, but still needs supervision. She is often nervous around foreign objects; for example ladders, rolling suitcases, guitard and tape measures. She'll need a patient understanding home. She responds well with positive reinforcement.

Molly is spayed, housebroken, microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations. Please contact Christine at at 951-239-0891 or email her at to learn more about Molly.

Adoption Process
Our dogs are as unique as you are! Adding a new family member is an important decision that will bring years of enjoyment to both human and canine. Our adoption process helps us match the right dog up to the right home. Adoption process is as follows:
-First we like to talk on the phone to determine if the dog you are interested in might be a good match.
-If so, we send out an application via email to be filled out and returned by potential adopter(s).
-Next step is meet n greet with all members of household both human and canine.
-Homecheck to make sure yard is safe and secure

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped with lifetime registration, rabies, dewormed, and up to date on their vaccinations. Adoption fee is $200 for adults and $250 for puppies under 6 months. We adopt out to Southern California only.

More about this rescue

Welcome to Treasured Tails Canine Rescue. We are a volunteer based non profit 501c3 all breed dog rescue focusing on the animal shelters of Southern California. The dogs we save from shelters are the ones in danger of euthanasia. Highly adoptable dogs lose their lives due to many reasons. Shelter over crowding, an easily treatable medical condition or injury, a dog who is extremely shy or frightened in the shelter environment or in many cases the dog is simply in need of a make over at the groomers. Once a dog enters our rescue he/she goes into a foster home where we can get to know that dog better which allows us to match the dog up with the right family.

Our Mission
To be the bridge between shelter and loving home.
