My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cooper
I am Cooper – I’m about 3 years old. I’m not really sure because I was homeless for some time. I’ve been at Paws 4 A Cause for about a 18 months. I was in training to be a service dog, but because I can get a bit protective of my owner, I guess I didn’t quite complete the program.
I love to gently play and get along with most other dogs at my rescue as long as we are introduced nicely. I am a good snuggler and comforter, and I get really attached to my human. I’m a bit afraid of strangers, especially when they come into my home, so my foster mom just asks me to kennel up and I just hang out there until they leave.
I walk really well on a leash. I’m also chipped so I never get lost again. I’ve been neutered (ouch!!), and had all of my shots. My ideal family would be a person that lives alone and just wants to hike, walk and snuggle. My foster family would give you my kennel so they know I’ll be safe and not afraid of strangers in your home.
Will you be my forever human?
