Hi, I'm Nacho, an 11 lb., male chihuahua. I am a shy little boy who only enjoys petting when I'm on a super comfy dog bed or after I know you really well.  You can pick me up for a bit once I stop at my crate or the bed, but I 'don't really enjoy being held. My perfect family will be someone who is willing to be patient with my shyness and keep me secure.  I am house and crate trained. I can walk with a harness, but I just prefer being in my own backyard.  I love big soft dog beds, and blankets. I get along fine with all the large dogs at my foster mom's house, although I can be a bit bossy.  I am now heartworm negative, but still take some daily hearr medications but have a normal life.  I am neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $100 in the Houston area. You can apply at www.soca-fbc.org/adoptables.

With an approved application, applicants are considered for the pet they have applied for. Our goal is to make the best match for both the adopting family and the pet. Applications are NOT considered on a first come first served basis. Following an initial meet and great, potential adopters must pass a home inspection and sleepovers are strongly encouraged to ensure a perfect fit. Upon approval, the adoptive family is required to pay a fee and sign an adoption agreement. Fees are $200 for a puppy under a year and $150 for adults and include spay/neuter, current vaccines, microchip and many wonderful years of companionship.
