Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucy is a very sweet dog who loves adventure, walks, fetch, and cuddles. I got Lucy 4 years ago as an 8 month old puppy from a neighbor in Mississippi who found her abandoned. She has had some training on leash and does well with basic commands. She is very smart and learns quickly. Lucy has some fear/anxiety behaviors that are managed well with daily exercise and attention. Unfortunately, she has not done well with our new baby twins. I have been very overwhelmed and unable to give her the attention, exercise, and the type of home that she needs to be a happy and healthy dog. Ideally, she would fit into a home that can walk her daily and give her lots of attention. I don’t recommend a home with small children. Lucy has done okay with dogs that are small but she is fearful of larger dogs. This decision has been heartbreaking for me because we do want to keep her, however the safety of our boys comes first and we also want to do what is best for Lucy by putting her in a good home.
